H.M. Johnson has successfully recorded two solo releases entitled : Feel It and Everybody wants Control of You and is currently working on a new project. Henry also contributed guitar tracks to CBS after school TV specials as well as work with the CBN cable network and has received high praise from Guitar Player Magazine. In his career, he has toured and performed in hundreds of venues in many states. He also was on a Blues Cruise where he had the opportunity to perform with, legendary singer, songwriter, Delbert McClinton. Henry has also worked gigs with jazz trumpeter Tom Brown and notable other recording artists. Over the years of listening to and watching such name acts, he has learned what and what not to do to satisfy an audience, and make the show a success!

Currently H.M. is involved in teaching and mentoring Grant Austin Taylor, a 14 year old child prodegy who resides in Norfolk, Virginia. Grant’s accomplishment for such a young age are astounding and he justly gives Henry much credit for his mentoring. HM has been able to impart over 40 years of knowledge into Grant’s mind and hands. When you hear Grant playing you are also hearing a transfer of knowledge from one generation to another.
